Cupid is the Roman god of love, often depicted as a mischievous and winged child or young boy with a bow and arrows. He is the son of Venus, the goddess of love, and Mars, the god of war, and his Greek counterpart is Eros. According to mythology, Cupid uses his magical arrows to make people fall in love some arrows cause intense desire, while others provoke love at first sight.
